Paul Perrone, Leanus Analyst, was a guest at Motor Italy – Veneto to discuss the regional business system and to present research and analysis of data from the Milano Finanza rankings.
Leanus he analysed 192.863 2024 financial statements of all Italian companies with revenues > €500K (excluding consolidated). Veneto is in third place by revenue volume across all regions and together with Lombardy and Lazio it forms 58% of the country's aggregate revenues.
It also emerged that Veneto companies have reduced their debt to banks and have net investments of €15 billion, a very high figure even for Italian medium-sized enterprises. 848 companies, 3,6% of the total, generate 59% of Veneto's revenue. 11.460 regional companies Instead, they generate revenues between 0,5 and 2 million euros and an aggregate of 12 billion, but they are the ones that make the difference in operations.
