Description

Companies with two or more Business Units or product families need to develop a business plan for each Business Unit. Leanus allows you to easily:

Develop Business Plans for each Business Unit or Product Family complete with Balance Sheet and Financial Statement
Obtain the overall Business Plan given by the sum of the individual Business Plans

Procedure for developing the Business Plan for Business Unit

STEP 1 – Preparation of Business Unit analysis

The operations described below are intended for users who are familiar with the Leanus + Upload Balance Sheets and Business Plans module

Through our model L1, create the BUSINESS UNIT 1 master data
Through our model L1, create the BUSINESS UNIT 2 master data
Through our model L1, create the BUSINESS UNIT 3 master data

Repeat the operation for all the Business Units you want to manage.

STEP 2 – Business Plan development for individual BUs

Develop the Business Plan for the individual BUs. To see an example, refer to the Business Case “Developing a Business Plan for a Startup"

STEP 3 – Business Plan development for individual BUs

Create a group using the procedure “new group” which includes:

COMPANY WITH 3 BUSINESS UNITS
BUSINESSUNIT 1
BUSINESSUNIT 2
BUSINESSUNIT 3

At the end of the operation, the overall result of the processing will be available in the Group's Business Plan module.

The results shown in image number 4 are the result of the processing carried out to obtain the Business Plan of the individual Business Units.

The value 11.335.382 of Revenues relating to 12/2025 is obtained by adding the latest accounting data relating to 12/2024 (11.004.382), the inputs of the 3 Business Units, namely:

BUSINESS UNIT 1: 1000
BUSINESS UNIT 2: 30.000
BUSINESS UNIT 3: 300.000

BUSINESSUNIT 1
