Aggregate two or more business plans
Sometimes it is necessary to develop business plans for individual Business Units and then aggregate the results to get an overall view.
For example, if you want to develop the business plans for companies Alfa, Beta and Gamma, simply proceed as follows:
Procedure for aggregating two or more business plans
Access the ALFA company database and develop the Business Plan
Repeat the operation for BETA and GAMMA companies
Go to Process Analysis / + New Group, select the last historical year common to the 3 companies and create the group
During the Group Creation phase, the Business Plan data will also be aggregated and any inputs entered in the Business Plan module of ALFA, BETA and GAMMA will be added together.
IMPORTANT: In order for the aggregation to be carried out successfully, the following hypotheses must be verified:
- Aggregate analyses must be <= 300
- All analyses must have the year of aggregation as the last balance sheet year
- All analyses must have only one period in the year of aggregation
- All analyses must have the annual BP at that time
- All analyses must have at least 4 BP periods
- All analyses must have the aggregation year as the first BP period (this means that if some of the analyses have a last infra-annual period that includes the first BP year in the same year it is excluded)
- The aggregation must not include the distinction between periods relating to different months but of the same year (see option Aggregate all accounting periods relating to the same year)
If one or more hypotheses occur, the Business Plan data will be aggregated but the inputs made by the user in the ALFA, BETA, GAMMA companies will not be taken into account.
